Gregorio Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Aballe in the 9th minute of the match. If Alfredo Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cipolletti's goalkeeper Evelio Tristan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Porfirio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Bernard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cipolletti's Evelio Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Sidro in the 25th minute of play. Alfredo Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Evelio Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Urbano Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Timoteo Edur fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipolletti's protests and gave Timoteo Edur a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cipolletti's Timoteo Edur got a free kick in the 51st minute. Aurelio Fidensio's late challenge caught a Cachi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Fidensio helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Sidro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evelio Tristan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alfredo Sidros short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Evelio Tristan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Cachi FC's zone, Arturo Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Bernard came out of the goal and Arturo Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Aballe in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Cachi FC booed when Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Higinio Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Alfredo Sidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arturo Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cipolletti getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aureliano Arano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Cipolletti defense, Alfredo Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Tristan. The Cipolletti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Tristan should have stopped the shot. When Urbano Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cipolletti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Porfirio couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cachi FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
