Arturo Aballe started the match with the kick off. After 10 minutes of play, Andalgalá's Saverio Paskal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Paskal struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Evelio Tristan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andalgalá. Felipe Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Urbano Porfirio sent off a good shot on target. Saverio Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Evelio Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aureliano Arano fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipolletti's protests and gave Aureliano Arano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cipolletti getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aureliano Arano hit a great ball. Aurelio Fidensio charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Fidensio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Cipolletti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Guillermo Vidal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Tristan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Paskal in the 42nd minute of play forced Cipolletti's goalkeeper Evelio Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Urbano Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Ortzi was the one to do the kick off. Saverio Paskal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Evelio Tristan made a huge save. Aurelio Fidensio got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 62nd minute, Aurelio Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Paskal got free with Evelio Tristan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Andalgalá booed when Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Felipe Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Porfirio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Eleazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Andalgalá booed when Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Delfino hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Urbano Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cipolletti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Porfirio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cipolletti's goalkeeper Evelio Tristan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
