Curupaity's Jairo Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ciudacita's zone, Alejandro Daunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Cresencio came out of the goal and Alejandro Daunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Erasto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Eustacio Foro made a huge save. Eustacio Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 26th minute, Leo Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Daunte took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Cresencio. Feliberto Cresencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Curupaity's Roman Meder got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Curupaity's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arnaldo Evangelista 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Leo Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Foro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Curupaity's Roman Meder got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Leo Erastos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Eustacio Foro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Daunte to make the kick off. Feliberto Cresencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Daunte's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Moises Oliverios's late challenge caught a Ciudacita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Oliverios helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ciudacita booed when Curupaity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Leo Erasto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Foro. Curupaity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Erasto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 65th minute of the match Valentin Peruanton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Foro skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Curupaity defense, Arnaldo Evangelista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Foro. The Curupaity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Foro should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Jairo Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Leo Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudacita's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Erasto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Foro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Evangelista struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eustacio Foro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudacita. Arnaldo Evangelista might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Foro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Evangelista ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the game, Jairo Noe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupaity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudacita the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curupaity's Jairo Noe got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Basilio Eguzki sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curupaity's Eustacio Foro didn't even have to move. Eustacio Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Leo Erasto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Foro. Curupaity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Erasto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Arnaldo Evangelista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustacio Foro having to make a save. Arnaldo Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eustacio Foro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciudacita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
