Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Palmarcito's Luisito Polo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogelio Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Asier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Valle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celedonio Joanes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Asier in the 10th minute of play forced Palmarcito's goalkeeper Rogelio Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fermin Bernal fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmarcito's protests and gave Fermin Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. Fermin Bernal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Valle's Roque Karlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Bernal in the 16th minute of play. Edelmiro Kiliz ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Hug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Kiliz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Paolo Osmundo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Valle's Roque Karlo got control of the ball when Celedonio Joanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Roque Karlo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Palmarcito's Rogelio Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Asier in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Kiliz to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Serapio got free with Rogelio Hug in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Roque Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Valle players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palmarcito.
