Edelmiro Katia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Pedro Rutenio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranchillos FC the free kick. A collision led to Capla FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Pedro Rutenio hit a great ball. Capla FC's Benito Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Estebano in the 11th minute of play. Ildefonso Baldovino kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Dalmacio Gaspard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Benino firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 16th minute, Gervasio Restu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Rutenio in the 17th minute of play forced Ranchillos FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Gaspard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Benito Benino made a huge save. If Pedro Rutenio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gervasio Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edelmiro Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dalmacio Gaspard fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranchillos FC's protests and gave Dalmacio Gaspard a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Ranchillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Gaspard. If Dalmacio Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Gaspard got free with Benito Benino in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ranchillos FC's Edelmiro Katia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Restu in the 42nd minute of play. Dalmacio Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Benino having to interfere. Edelmiro Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Restu in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Estebano was the one to do the kick off. Benito Benino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Capla FC defense, Mariano Estebano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Benino. The Capla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Benino should have stopped the shot. Capla FC's Pedro Rutenio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Capla FC's Benito Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Gaspard in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Estebano in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Benino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mariano Estebano came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ranchillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Estebano couldn't finish the play. The Ranchillos FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Ranchillos FC's Mariano Estebano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ranchillos FC booed when Capla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dalmacio Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Katia made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Pedro Rutenio sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Restu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Katia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Gervasio Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ranchillos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Capla FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
