When Evelio Quinito fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urutaú's protests and gave Evelio Quinito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Urutaú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Siro Henry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Ubelteso in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Berazategui AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Victorio Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berazategui AFC's Dionisio Koldobika got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
