Leonel Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Bermudo in the 17th minute of play. Edelmiro Quirze struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Leonel Gaxan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinidad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Bermudo in the 19th minute of play forced Ranquil's goalkeeper Leonel Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edelmiro Quirze came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Trinidad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Quirze couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Ranquil got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Gustau. Jorge Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Tximitx having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Ranquil's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Bermudo came free, but Leonel Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Edelmiro Quirze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Bermudo in the 37th minute of play forced Ranquil's goalkeeper Leonel Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Bermudo made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Edelmiro Quirze reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonel Gaxan. The goal made the score 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trinidad fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Cirilo Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Crispo in the 90th minute of the match. If Primitivo Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Tximitx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
