Anacleto Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Anacleto Harkaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Rios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro Dimas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Atilano Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Rios having to interfere. The Médanos fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Médanos's Haroldo Rafe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Castaño's Manuel Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Harkaitz in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Médanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Bastian to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Diaz to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Armando Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Cilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Eliazar's late challenge caught a Castaño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Eliazar helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Médanos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Castaño a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victoriano Diaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Médanos's Atilano Cilio. 1-2. Jonathan Eliazar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Alonzo Txerran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atilano Cilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Txerran's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Armando Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castaño's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Cordearo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Cilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Haroldo Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Armando Cordearo made a precise shot to the right of Atilano Cilio. Médanos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 91st match minute, Castaño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Felo to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Diaz's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Manuel Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Castaño had won after a very even match.
