Celso Silbestre started the match with the kick off. Valentin Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Filomeno Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Betadur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Gelacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celso Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Roberto Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tala FC's Eusebio Abancens got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute Jacinto Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Tala FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Amato. Roberto Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Braulio Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roberto Rayman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Claris was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Filomeno Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goalkeeper Valentin Gelacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Amato. Jonas Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Valentin Gelacio made a huge save. Jacinto Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Tala FC's Jonas Amato got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Roberto Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Rayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Celso Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Valentin Gelacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonas Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Amato came free, but Valentin Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Amato in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
