Enzo Quirce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jorge Cruz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Etxekopar in the 6th minute of play forced Toldos's goalkeeper Jorge Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Etxekopar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jorge Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toldos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sañogasta the free kick. A collision led to Toldos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Francisco Cuarto hit a great ball. Enzo Quirce came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Cruz could save by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Sañogasta's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Cuarto came free, but Prudencio Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toldos's goalkeeper Jorge Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cesar Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Elvio Etxekopar made the kick off in the second half. Roman Lico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Lico might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Malvin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Lico ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes Sañogasta got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Rafe. 61 minutes into the match, Roman Lico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Malvin. Sañogasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Lico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cesar Gaufred's late challenge caught a Sañogasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Gaufred helped the player get up and apologised. 69 minutes into the match, Roman Lico notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sañogasta's Prudencio Malvin. Prudencio Malvin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Prudencio Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Lico scored 0-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Malvin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Roman Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toldos's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Lico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cruz having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Toldos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
