In the 22nd match minute, Burmeister AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Vito to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Serafino Aritza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alfonso Sugar charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Sugar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burmeister AFC reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Cirilo Terciero made the kick off in the second half. Serafino Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gaudencio Vito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Claris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. When Serafino Aritza came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Burmeister AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Aritza couldn't finish the play. If Gaudencio Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Lucio Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
