The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Betbeder's goalkeeper Eloy Cesaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Fresco. Dalmacio Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eloy Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Herminio Brion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cejolao FC's Isidro Miro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Betbeder booed when Cejolao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Benicio Viviano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cejolao FC's Isidro Miro. Isidro Miro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benicio Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Brion in the 26th minute of play forced Cejolao FC's goalkeeper Isidro Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cejolao FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jacinto Poncio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Benicio Viviano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Miro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Betbeder's Eloy Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Mateo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Cejolao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Poncio to maneuver through the defense. The Cejolao FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Betbeder were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Mateo to strike the kick off in the second half. Eloy Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Mateo in the 57th minute of play. Cejolao FC's Isidro Miro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cejolao FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Herminio Brion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Cejolao FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Seme. The supporters of Cejolao FC booed when Betbeder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Betbeder got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Llanos. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Betbeder's goalkeeper Eloy Cesaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Betbeder booed when Cejolao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Benicio Viviano rounded Cejolao FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. In the 89th minute Felix Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dalmacio Fresco came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cejolao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Fresco couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Bittor charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Bittor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmacio Fresco struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eloy Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cejolao FC.
