Tiburcio Lope charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Asturias AFC's Tobias Henrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Ermano in the 8th minute of play. Hugo Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Ciano having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Rogelio Isaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Maximino Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes in the game, Hugo Peio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aristides Ciano having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Hugo Peio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ombú AFC's Aristides Ciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Peio in the 40th minute of play forced Ombú AFC's goalkeeper Aristides Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leon Tanio fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asturias AFC's protests and gave Leon Tanio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Asturias AFC's Leon Tanio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Ermano to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Asturias AFC's goalkeeper Tobias Henrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Isaio. Aristides Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Asturias AFC booed when Ombú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomás Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Henrico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
