Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Humberto Goiz got the match started through his kick off. Igor Rioja in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nereo Perrando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Igor Rioja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Nereo Perrando made a huge save. The supporters of Ballester FC booed when Metán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Evarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Rioja got free with Nereo Perrando in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Teyo in the 26th minute of play forced Metán's goalkeeper Nereo Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Igor Rioja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Perrando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nereo Perrando made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Igor Rioja sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Severo Evarado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Evarado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Rioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Perrando having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Sotero. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Evarado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Metán's Ciro Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Humberto Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Metán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Goiz couldn't finish the play. Armando Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Perrando having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Metán's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Rioja came free, but Nereo Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Donzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Rogelio Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ballester FC's Ivan Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Goiz in the 93rd minute of play. Igor Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Metán's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Henric came free, but Nereo Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
