The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Azul AFC's Guido Curcio got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateo Rito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximiliano Ganix came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateo Rito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Diego Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Celipe charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Celipe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Azul AFC's Arnulfo Celipe got a free kick in the 19th minute. Astor Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Neron in the 23rd minute of the match. Astor Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Maximiliano Ganix didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After a rather tough play, Azul AFC's Mateo Rito got a free kick in the 31st minute. Astor Pelayo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Higuera FC's Diego Neron. But to his dismay, Diego Neron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Astor Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Neron in the 39th minute of the match. If Flavio Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Diego Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Flavio Patxi from a close distance when the talented Astor Pelayo managed to make a qualified save. Azul AFC's players were relieved. If Mateo Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Ugaitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Flavio Patxi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Azul AFC's Astor Pelayo. Astor Pelayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Diego Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Diego Neron recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Astor Pelayo. Diego Neron showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The supporters of Higuera FC booed when Azul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Pelayo having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Azul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Neron came free, but Astor Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Constantino Guillelmo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azul AFC's protests and gave Constantino Guillelmo a yellow card for diving instead. Constantino Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Azul AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Arnulfo Celipe hit a great ball. Diego Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Pelayo having to interfere. Astor Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Neron in the 86th minute of play. Constantino Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Diego Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute of the match, Diego Neron tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Astor Pelayo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Higuera FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
