Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Esteban Leheren made the kick off which started today's match. Claudio Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Leheren in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Rossi's goalkeeper Claudio Francis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Basajaun. After 11 played minutes Rossi got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Eneas. After a defensive mix-up in Arrecifes's zone, Joel Senon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Justin came out of the goal and Joel Senon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Danilo Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Joel Senon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Senon in the 18th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Cipriano Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rossi's Claudio Francis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Rossi from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Rossi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Inocencio Eneas hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Senon came free, but Cipriano Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Senon to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteban Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Francis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Basajaun in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Joel Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rossi's zone, Ricardo Basajaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Francis came out of the goal and Ricardo Basajaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Joel Senon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cipriano Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Rossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. If Joel Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Gerardo Galoer got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cipriano Justin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Sal in the 88th minute. Claudio Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Leheren in the 90th minute of the match. When Esteve Gonzo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrecifes's protests and gave Esteve Gonzo a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Amancio Ospin from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Cipriano Justin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arrecifes had won after a very even match.
