After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Esteban Leheren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrecifes's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Leheren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Matia charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Matia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Azul AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Victor Matia hit a great ball. Arnulfo Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Esteban Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Pelayo having to interfere. In the 37th minute Esteban Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrecifes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Mateo Rito scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Justin, making the score, 1-1. Mateo Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Rito to make the kick off. In the 90th minute Mateo Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Curcio came free, but Cipriano Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Justin having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
