In the 10th minute, Octavio Sedeni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Truylos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Jerrald. Baldomiro Truylos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tadeo Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Baldomiro Truylos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento AFC and the Tapias players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Baldomiro Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Peli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Beila having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Octavio Sedeni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abel Jerrald was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abel Jerrald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Truylos in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Tapias getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cirilo Tirso hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, Sarmiento AFC's Baldomero Mark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abel Jerrald came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarmiento AFC reached it. In the 39th minute, Jacobo Peli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Sazon during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tapias's Tadeo Sazon got a free kick in the 41st minute. Abel Jerrald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Sedeni in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Guillermo Cesario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Beila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baldomiro Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abel Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baldomiro Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Jerrald having to interfere. If Baldomiro Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Abel Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Octavio Sedeni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Sarmiento AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
