Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pilón's Horacio Maurino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severo Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Pilón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. The Molinari fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Molinari's Severo Baumar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Severo Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Nestor Ishmael fired a really elegant long shot, but Edelmiro Oliverios threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Nereo Salomone's late challenge caught a Pilón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Salomone helped the player get up and apologised. Nereo Salomone hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Tiadoro got free with Edelmiro Oliverios in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Eriz having to interfere. Gerardo Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Severo Baumar took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Eriz. Gerardo Eriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Baumar in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Eriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Baumar made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Molinari's Severo Baumar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Eriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severo Baumar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gerardo Eriz made a huge save. Teo Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Oliverios having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Ricardo Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Molinari and the Pilón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Molinari got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Florin. Edelmiro Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Maurino in the 58th minute of the match. Horacio Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 67th minute, but Gerardo Eriz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Pilón hanging dry this time. Cirilo Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Eriz having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Horacio Maurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molinari's Edelmiro Oliverios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Tiadoro in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Oliverios saved Molinari from getting behind. When Cirilo Atarratze came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Molinari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Atarratze couldn't finish the play. If Severo Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Lidon scored 1-3 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Oliverios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
