Corrientes FC's Guillermo Cordero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Corrientes FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Longchamps's Tadeo Rojelio got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Mauro Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Jakes in the 35th minute of play forced Corrientes FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrientes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Jonas Seber scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Cordero, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jonas Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longchamps's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Seber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The wind increased when Ismael Jakes made the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Jonas Seber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Ismael Jakes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Corrientes FC's Guillermo Cordero. Guillermo Cordero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st match minute, Longchamps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Corrientes FC's Filiberto Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Ismael Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Longchamps's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Abascal came free, but Rogelio Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Mauro Bartolome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Felix Txanton hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to Longchamps getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tadeo Rojelio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Longchamps's Rogelio Astigar got control of the ball when Mauro Bartolome tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Bartolome's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Rogelio Astigar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonas Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guillermo Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
