Alastuey FC:s Celestino Nazario showed great skill when he stopped Serafin Nastasio:s penalty. After 19 minutes of play, Espinillo AFC's Serafin Nastasio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celestino Nazario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo Camerino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Tabby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alastuey FC booed when Espinillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Espinillo AFC's Atilano Macerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Nazario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alastuey FC's Humberto Bernad got a free kick in the 30th minute. Espinillo AFC's Faustino Sauveur got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alastuey FC's Celestino Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Macerio in the 42nd minute of play. When Ignacio Tabby came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Alastuey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Tabby couldn't finish the play. Jaime Emenon's late challenge caught a Espinillo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Emenon helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Alastuey FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Emenon. In the 47th minute of the match, Atilano Macerio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celestino Nazario saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Henry was the one to do the kick off. Alastuey FC's Celestino Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Sauveur in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alastuey FC's Benedicto Dei got a free kick in the 85th minute. A nice corner shot did that Faustino Sauveur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celestino Nazario quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Atilano Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espinillo AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
