Paulino Federigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Maureo in the 10th minute of play. Julio Gartzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Dunixi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Gartzea in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Dunixi saved Asturias AFC from getting behind. Asturias AFC's Javier Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Gartzea in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Santiago Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asturias AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Jusepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Federigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Jusepe in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulino Federigo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Julio Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Dunixi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Gartzea went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arnulfo Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Correa FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Gil. Asturias AFC's Cayetano Maureo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Asturias AFC's goalkeeper Javier Dunixi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Correa FC got a corner. Asturias AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Federico Lluciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Correa FC booed when Asturias AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Dunixi having to interfere. Modesto Ireno hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Modesto Ireno was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th match minute, Asturias AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Ireno to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Indartsu's late challenge caught a Asturias AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Indartsu helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 minutes, Federico Lluciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Correa FC and the Asturias AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Correa FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Federico Lluciano hit a great ball. When Emanuel Ramirez fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asturias AFC's protests and gave Emanuel Ramirez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Correa FC booed when Asturias AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Jusepe struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Paulino Federigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asturias AFC. In the 80th minute, Julio Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Lertxun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Arturo Iratzeder notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Asturias AFC's Javier Dunixi. Javier Dunixi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 98th minute, Emanuel Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Federico Lluciano from long distance, 99 minutes into the match, got Javier Dunixi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match was over Correa FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Asturias AFC throughout the match.
