The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Maureo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Simbolar AFC's Horacio Estebano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Dunixi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute Cirilo Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Simbolar AFC's protests and gave Horacio Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. Horacio Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Miguel Aureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Dunixi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Cirilo Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbolar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Crispo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cayetano Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
