The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Yuchán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Patrido. After recieving a nice pass, Yuchán AFC's Osvaldo Florian tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Julian Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Federigo in the 13th minute of play forced Caucete's goalkeeper Gaspar Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Caucete getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Francisco Cordeara hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Yuchán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Blanco. Francisco Cordeara struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Roque Pabla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caucete. Eusebio Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Yuchán AFC's zone, Domingos Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Pabla came out of the goal and Domingos Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Patrido hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Eusebio Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caucete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonatan Pancho hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Caucete's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Federigo came free, but Gaspar Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Francisco Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Domingos Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Julian Federigo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Constantino Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuchán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruperto Araoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gaspar Quin made a huge save. If Julian Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match, Julian Federigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaspar Quin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Constantino Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Quin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Julian Federigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caucete's Gaspar Quin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When German Valery fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caucete's protests and gave German Valery a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, German Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Blanco got free with Gaspar Quin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eusebio Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Caucete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Erlantz couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Karlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caucete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yuchán AFC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Caucete got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Karlo. After having played for 84 minutes, Constantino Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuchán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
