Rolando Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Quinito having to interfere. Amado Lluis might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Quinito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Lluis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Dante Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Quinito made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rolando Vitin sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Lluis made a kick off. If Dante Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Capilla AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sixto Abeitia hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Capilla AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Oliverios. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Clementi in the 56th minute of play forced Capilla AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Runciman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capilla AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Runciman's zone, Severino Hats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Quinito came out of the goal and Severino Hats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Capilla AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Oliverios. Dante Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Baumer having to interfere. Luisito Baumer stood somewhat misplaced when Lorenzo Oliverios came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 92 minute. In the 95th match minute, Runciman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Toro to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Quinito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Vitin in the 96th minute of the match. Lorenzo Oliverios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Baumer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Severino Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. In the 102nd minute Runciman were awarded a corner. Bernardino Abaurre went to the cornerflag to take it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Runciman had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
