After some careless play in the Monteros defense, Nestor Refugio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Loiola. The Monteros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Loiola should have stopped the shot. Braulio Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Loiola having to interfere. Braulio Nayely blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Loiola having to make a save. Victoriano Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Gaxan in the 19th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Tacura FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Cordarrell. Alfonso Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Refugio in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Nestor Refugio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Loiola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Braulio Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tacura FC's Victoriano Lander got control of the ball when Alfredo Erroman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Monteros getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Santos Chabier hit a great ball. Albano Selatse's late challenge caught a Tacura FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Selatse helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Monteros's Albano Selatse got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Tacura FC's Victoriano Lander got control of the ball when Alfredo Erroman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Monteros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tacura FC were winning 0-3.

Alfredo Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Tacura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Rexino to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Monteros's Santos Chabier got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Gerardo Txerran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacura FC the free kick. Gerardo Txerran kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Nestor Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Erroman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Victoriano Lander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tacura FC's Victoriano Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Gaxan in the 93rd minute of play. Braulio Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alfonso Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tacura FC's Braulio Nayely got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tacura FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
