If Denis Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Ivan Dolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmas and the Chañarmyo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Dolfo. Osvaldo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arsenio Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Lon's late challenge caught a Chañarmyo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Lon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Lon to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Chañarmyo AFC got a corner. Palmas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulises Cordaryal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Chañarmyo AFC's Ulises Cordaryal to fire away a dangerous shot which Arsenio Leheren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fidel Orlo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Arsenio Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañarmyo AFC. Baldomero Lon was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ulises Cordaryal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Denis Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Palmas's Arsenio Leheren got control of the ball when Fidel Orlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chañarmyo AFC's Fidel Orlo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Silverio Abaunza fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañarmyo AFC's protests and gave Silverio Abaunza a yellow card for diving instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Caradaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pablo Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Sein in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Chañarmyo AFC's goalkeeper Pablo Ortle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Sein. After 62 played minutes Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Resto. Arsenio Leheren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Caradaro's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Caradaro came free, but Arsenio Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chañarmyo AFC's Osvaldo Caradaro got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chañarmyo AFC's Fidel Orlo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chañarmyo AFC booed when Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Chañarmyo AFC's Osvaldo Caradaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Leheren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Chañarmyo AFC's Fidel Orlo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Osvaldo Caradaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chañarmyo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Caradaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Adrian Weather hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chañarmyo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palmas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
