When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Filomeno Serafo sped through Palmas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arsenio Leheren. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmas's goalkeeper Arsenio Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Serafo in the 35th minute of play forced Palmas's goalkeeper Arsenio Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Calisto came out of the goal and Sebastian Resto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Sebastian Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Resto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Calisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Palmas booed when Udaquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
