Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Aaron Chago came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Colazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Chago couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the game, Zeledon Lando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alderetes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colazo the free kick. Atilano Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Isaac Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Romildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Blai went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alderetes AFC's Isaac Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Umbruso in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Anibal Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alderetes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Romildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Froylan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Santos Romildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Polo in the 25th minute of play. Aaron Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aaron Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Chago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Aaron Chago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Colazo's Aaron Chago got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Romildo having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Anibal Polo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Alderetes AFC booed when Colazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Quirze didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Colazo defense, Anibal Polo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Romildo. The Colazo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Romildo should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Alderetes AFC's goalkeeper Isaac Maureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Chago. In the 57th minute of the match, Atilano Umbruso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isaac Maureo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alderetes AFC's Isaac Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Umbruso in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alderetes AFC's Raul Jaunti got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Chago got free with Isaac Maureo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Romildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Polo in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Atilano Umbruso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Maureo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Santos Romildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Anibal Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Santos Romildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Rodolfo Froylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alderetes AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
