Monteagudo's Camilo Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Loco in the 3rd minute of play. Gaston Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th match minute, Arcadia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Cordario to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 7 in the game by Jacinto Quirce from a close distance when the talented Amancio Olentzaro managed to make a qualified save. Arcadia FC's players were relieved. Camilo Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 16 minutes on the clock, Abel Gorbea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Matias Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matias Loco scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Tavio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 minutes, Gaston Reyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monteagudo and the Arcadia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Arcadia FC a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. After the first half Arcadia FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 58 minutes, Felipe Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcadia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arcadia FC's goalkeeper Amancio Olentzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Ted came free, but Camilo Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Olentzaro having to interfere. Monteagudo's Osvaldo Tab got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Felipe Ted was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jacinto Quirce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Feliciano Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monteagudo's Camilo Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Ted in the 83rd minute of play. Feliciano Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Arcadia FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
