The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Oscar Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Evangelista had several of the Uguay AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gustavo Remir as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gustavo Remir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Belasko in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Belasko in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Remir saved Uguay AFC from getting behind. When Genaro Aznar fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uguay AFC's protests and gave Genaro Aznar a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Perutxo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Uguay AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gustavo Remir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Igor Tximitx. Uguay AFC's Gustavo Remir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Uguay AFC from getting a goal against them. Genaro Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Quilo having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Genaro Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Genaro Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uguay AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Aznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uguay AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Remir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elpidio Evangelista scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Remir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Horacio Perpinya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Elpidio Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Haroldo Eguzki fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uguay AFC's protests and gave Haroldo Eguzki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Haroldo Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Elpidio Quilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uguay AFC. Oscar Lorenz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Elpidio Quilo made a huge save. Baldomiro Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Uguay AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Lopes to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tintigasta FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uguay AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
