Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Celso Hulberto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Eustaquio Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Florian was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Isaias Formerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaias Formerio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Carlos Hechter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Maule read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Hechter in the 12th minute of play forced Mataldi FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mataldi FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aquiles Garaile hit a great ball. Carlos Hechter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Carlos Hechter sped through Mataldi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Maule. Generoso Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bernardino Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Hechter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Piñero's Carlos Hechter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Maule made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Moises Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Hulberto in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, one of Piñero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Mataldi FC's Aquiles Garaile got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Moises Florian. Moises Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Hulberto in the 39th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Armando Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 52 minutes, Aaron Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Mannuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carlos Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Piñero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Hechter couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Piñero's zone, Isaias Formerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Florian came out of the goal and Isaias Formerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Carlos Hechter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Hechter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mataldi FC's zone, David Amor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Maule came out of the goal and David Amor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Maule having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Gartzea got free with Bernardino Maule in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Isaias Formerio notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Piñero's Moises Florian. Moises Florian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
