The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nemesio Nazario hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Baldomero Edorta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Satordi in the 18th minute of play. Justo Berriotxoa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Uspallata's Hernan Perutxo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernan Perutxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Edorta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Benjamin Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Benjamin Ioritz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cesar Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Rameriz in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uspallata's goalkeeper Cesar Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sumamao FC's zone, Hernan Perutxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Edorta came out of the goal and Hernan Perutxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benjamin Ioritz made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Nicolas Fe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uspallata and the Sumamao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas Fe hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nemesio Nazario charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Nazario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hernan Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Edorta having to interfere. When Bernabe Francesco fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumamao FC's protests and gave Bernabe Francesco a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the game, one of Sumamao FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Uspallata. Angelo Honrio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Edorta. 0-1. In the 76th match minute, Uspallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Nazario to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Satordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Baldomero Edorta made a huge save. Everardo Amor's late challenge caught a Uspallata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Amor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sumamao FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Everardo Amor hit a great ball. After 83rd play minutes Fernando Rameriz shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cesar Cordeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 94th minute, Fernando Rameriz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumamao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sumamao FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
