When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gregorio Beat put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cesar Cordeiro. 18 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Satordi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Rami. Ambrosio Satordi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nemesio Nazario's late challenge caught a Tablada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Nazario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Uspallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Nazario to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joaquin Isadore charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Isadore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
