In the 19th minute Miguel Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Gabon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atilano Katia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 20 minute of play. If Atilano Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Argoitz got free with Arnoldo Gabon in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Bartuelo in the 30th minute of the match. Arnoldo Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

With 59 minutes on the clock, Dario Pirro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 58th minute, one of Curacó:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curacó. The referee gave Dufaur AFC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denis Nofre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curacó's Anacleto Rodas. 4-2. Miguel Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Rodas having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Curacó's goalkeeper Anacleto Rodas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Bartuelo. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jonas Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Gabon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Miguel Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anacleto Rodas was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jonas Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Gabon having to interfere. If Miguel Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marciano Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Rodas having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Curacó's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Prudencio Evarado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Jonas Argoitz came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Curacó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Argoitz couldn't finish the play.
