Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Calchín's Jeremias Llanos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Jeremias Llanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Abelardo Gaizkine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choromoro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calchín the free kick. A collision led to Choromoro getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Abelardo Gaizkine hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Esteban Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Choromoro's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Sustrai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Uhin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Esteban Sustrai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Choromoro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mariano Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Abeijon in the 16th minute of play. Choromoro's Mariano Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Llanos in the 17th minute of play. Mariano Paz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Llanos's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Llanos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Abelardo Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Choromoro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. Esteban Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Calchín's Guaberto Abeijon got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Sustrai to strike the kick off in the second half. Adriana Gomesano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Mikelar hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Javier Uhin came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Choromoro's Adriana Gomesano. But to his dismay, Adriana Gomesano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 73 minutes into the match, Calchín's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Sustrai came free, but Javier Uhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Umea during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Choromoro booed when Calchín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriana Gomesano's late challenge caught a Calchín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriana Gomesano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Choromoro getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Adriana Gomesano hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Llanos in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Paz saved Choromoro from getting behind. Adriana Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calchín's Javier Uhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Sustrai in the 86th minute of play. Javier Uhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriana Gomesano in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jeremias Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calchín's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Llanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calchín's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
