The supporters of Copina FC booed when Naicó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naicó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copina FC the free kick. Efrain Gabino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Copina FC's Salvador Luzea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Saverio Darien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mauricio Ariando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Erasmo Teodor made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Siro Esdras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tobias Ponciano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Enzo Firmo took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Tobias Ponciano to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Esteve Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Pacifico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Ariando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Naicó AFC's zone, Esteve Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Ariando came out of the goal and Esteve Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Copina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Palban to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Naicó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Pacifico came free, but Mauricio Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Esteve Pacifico made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Ariando. Naicó AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 82 minutes, David Iratxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copina FC and the Naicó AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute of the match Higinio Palban sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Ariando skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Copina FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Raul Abadie hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Copina FC fully deserved thier win.
