The audience was convinced that Celestino Nicholas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Sesuldo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Nicholas in the 70th minute of play forced Tacurales's goalkeeper Esteban Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Tacurales:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Glew AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Glew AFC's Diego Errando got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Esteban Sesuldo. When Celestino Nicholas came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Glew AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Nicholas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Alejandro Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacurales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Nevada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glew AFC's Edelmiro Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Ibon in the 86th minute of play. Alejandro Nevada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Dunixi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Edelmiro Dunixi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Nevada went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Tacurales's Agustin Ibon got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glew AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
