Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Esteban Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Faustino Jobo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Angelino Diegotxe sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Maties hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Saturnino Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Pepillo in the 16th minute of play. When Piquete's Evaristo Pepillo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 30th minute Rodolfo Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Pepillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Bernebe having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Zacarias Maties put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paternal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Piquete a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gonzalo Frisco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paternal FC's Saturnino Bernebe. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Pepillo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Bernebe saved Paternal FC from getting behind. Roman Sayvion charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Sayvion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paternal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Piquete. Gonzalo Frisco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saturnino Bernebe. 0-2. The Paternal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piquete were winning 0-2.

Paternal FC's Angelino Diegotxe got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paternal FC's Saturnino Bernebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Paternal FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Paternal FC's Teofilo Karlo got a free kick in the 86th minute. Saturnino Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Pepillo in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Angelino Diegotxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paternal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Diegotxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Guipuzkoa during the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piquete eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
