Jonatan Claus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ekhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Dante Ariando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Hermengildo Oton made a huge save. A collision led to Chalicán getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lino Lluis hit a great ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Delgado FC's Bernabe Gutierrez in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hermengildo Oton was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chalicán through an amazing save. In the 48th minute Fabian Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Urko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lino Lluis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Ekhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bernabe Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
