Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Escobar FC's Isidoro Nalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Huanguelén AFC's Hermengildo Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Huanguelén AFC's Amadeo Garci pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nicanor Lertxun's late challenge caught a Huanguelén AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Escobar FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Lertxun. After 20 minutes Escobar FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teobaldo Toribio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Teobaldo Toribio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuel Oso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21st minute, Zacarias Oriol made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Oso. Escobar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zacarias Oriol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Oso having to make a save. Evaristo Chorache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Pacho having to make a save. If Evaristo Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Huanguelén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Nalo came free, but Juan Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Huanguelén AFC's Zacarias Oriol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Oso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Oriol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Isidoro Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huanguelén AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teobaldo Toribio in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Oriol in the 68th minute of play forced Escobar FC's goalkeeper Samuel Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zacarias Oriol came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Huanguelén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Oriol couldn't finish the play. Zacarias Oriol struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Samuel Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huanguelén AFC. After 80 played minutes Escobar FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Nalo. When Zacarias Oriol came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Huanguelén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Oriol couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Oriol in the 92nd minute of play forced Escobar FC's goalkeeper Samuel Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huanguelén AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Escobar FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
