Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermengildo Sidro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Hermengildo Sidro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Estevon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Huanguelén AFC's Hermengildo Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Juan Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the game, Vinicio Remigio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 15 minutes, Segundo Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huanguelén AFC and the Amanal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Huanguelén AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huanguelén AFC's goalkeeper Juan Pacho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Miguel Lain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Estevon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zacarias Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Huanguelén AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabio Bertran fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zacarias Oriol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Juan Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Huanguelén AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Bertran was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zacarias Oriol took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Estevon. Ernesto Estevon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Amanal's Leopoldo Goizeder got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Amanal's Ernesto Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Sidro in the 63rd minute of play. Huanguelén AFC's Segundo Gaitano pulled a muscle in his leg after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 64 minutes into the game, Matias Bazkoare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amanal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huanguelén AFC the free kick. After 71 minutes of play, Amanal's Fabio Bertran made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Pacho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 played minutes Amanal got a freekick which was hit by Matias Bazkoare. Juan Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Bertran, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Zacarias Oriol scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Estevon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zacarias Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Matias Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Huanguelén AFC's Teobaldo Toribio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
