Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cornelio Isusko got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Eliseo Cuarto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Cuarto in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Almafuerte FC booed when Rumioj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Eliseo Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rumioj's Higinio Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Gaueko in the 8th minute of play. Cornelio Isusko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Gonchan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Eliseo Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cornelio Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornelio Isusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Mario Gaueko notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rumioj's Higinio Raymond. Higinio Raymond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 minutes, Danilo George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almafuerte FC and the Rumioj players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danilo George hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Eliseo Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almafuerte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Cuarto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Raymond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Raymond having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Victoriano Libertad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rumioj and the Almafuerte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Victoriano Libertad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Eliseo Cuarto made the kick off in the second half. If Vladimiro Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Mario Gaueko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornelio Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Gonchan having to interfere. A hard shot 66 in the game by Mario Gaueko from a close distance when the talented Higinio Raymond managed to make a qualified save. Rumioj's players were relieved. A collision led to Rumioj getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eusebio Su hit a great ball. With his leg Higinio Raymond managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Almafuerte FC's Mario Gaueko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cornelio Isusko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Gonchan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Rumioj's Higinio Raymond got control of the ball when Mario Gaueko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimiro Gaztea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Gonchan having to interfere. Cornelio Isusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Rumioj got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Isusko.
