The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Segundo Pelagius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes, Antiguyo AFC's Octavio Berriotxoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raul Pepillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Antiguyo AFC reached it. Alonzo Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Paulo Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Rudolfo in the 17th minute of the match. Nicanor Socorro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Romo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Nicanor Socorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Benito Romo made a huge save. Paulo Cordeara struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Benito Romo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gouin. After 27 minutes, Segundo Pelagius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antiguyo AFC and the Gouin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Antiguyo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Pelagius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Elija in the 28th minute of play forced Antiguyo AFC's goalkeeper Benito Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gouin getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alonzo Cordarius hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Bonifacio Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antiguyo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Rudolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Antiguyo AFC's goalkeeper Benito Romo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Antiguyo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Pelagius.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Elija to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Romo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gouin's Nicanor Socorro. But to his dismay, Nicanor Socorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bonifacio Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Pepillo having to interfere. Raul Pepillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Rudolfo in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gouin's zone, Jesus Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Pepillo came out of the goal and Jesus Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Larra's late challenge caught a Antiguyo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Larra helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bonifacio Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antiguyo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Pepillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gouin's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jesus Bartolome 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Raul Pepillo was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Jesus Bartolome capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jesus Bartolome really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jesus Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antiguyo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Bartolome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Pepillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonifacio Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Raul Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Cordarius during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gouin getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alonzo Cordarius hit a great ball. Antiguyo AFC's Benito Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Elija in the 91st minute of play. If Nicanor Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Bartolome might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Pepillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Bartolome ran back to his position shaking his head. Antiguyo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
