After a defensive mix-up in Valdés AFC's zone, Lucas Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Montrel came out of the goal and Lucas Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Camps FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Javier Ciano hit a great ball. Alejandro Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Orti having to interfere. When Federico Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camps FC's protests and gave Federico Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Federico Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Valdés AFC's Cristo Sidoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Orti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Franco in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Montrel saved Valdés AFC from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lucas Franco made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cecilio Senio made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Orti. Camps FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Camps FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Senio came free, but Bartolo Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Venancio Tancredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Orti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Valdés AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucas Franco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bruno Euloxu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Montrel firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 73rd minute Camps FC were awarded a corner. Javier Ciano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Javier Ciano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valdés AFC's Ivan Montrel did a great save. Lucas Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ivan Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lucas Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdés AFC's Ivan Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Franco in the 86th minute of play. Ivan Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Duarte in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
