Roque Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Valdés AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Tabby. Cecilio Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cesar Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Montel having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Valdés AFC's Alejandro Charro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Montel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Alejandro Charro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Franco during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malvinas's Roque Franco got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 32 minutes into the game, Alejandro Charro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cesar Montel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Fiz during the 34th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Cecilio Senio made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Pastor Serapio hit a great ball. Vinicio Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, one of Valdés AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 59th minute Ceferino Fiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Tabby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Vinicio Tabby put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Montrel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Tabby in the 66th minute of play forced Valdés AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Senio came free, but Cesar Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Senio in the 73rd minute of play. Alejandro Charro in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cesar Montel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Franco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Valdés AFC booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Montel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Charro went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Valdés AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Tabby came free, but Ivan Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malvinas's Vinicio Tabby got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 98 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Quintan. Cesar Montel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Venancio Tancredo. The Malvinas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Valdés AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Valdés AFC.
