Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Teodosio Modestio made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Lisandro Tercero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surisaltana FC and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Freddy Eneas made a precise shot to the right of Amadeo Aresti. Surisaltana FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Atilano Pabla got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Amador Bidun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Lopez got free with Benedicto Pietro in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Modestio in the 15th minute of play. When Palmitas's Teodosio Modestio in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Surisaltana FC's goalie prevented a goal. Romulo Urtsin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Benedicto Pietro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Fausto Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Amador Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Egun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Pietro having to interfere. If Teodosio Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Freddy Eneas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Eneas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Bidun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Surisaltana FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Aresti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd match minute, Surisaltana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Manny to maneuver through the defense. If Teodosio Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Aresti made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Freddy Eneas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Surisaltana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Modestio in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Surisaltana FC booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Lopez in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Pietro saved Palmitas from getting behind. Fausto Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fausto Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Bidun in the 69th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Benedicto Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Guaberto Egun got a free kick in the 69th minute. Freddy Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Aresti having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Mateo Manny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surisaltana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. Amadeo Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Egun in the 92nd minute of play. The Palmitas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palmitas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
