When Bruno Rencio came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nazca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Rencio couldn't finish the play. In the 10thth minute of the game Daniel Hulberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nazca's Virgilio Osoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Rencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Cai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Lazzarino's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Rencio came free, but Paolo Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Cai having to interfere. In the 28th minute Bruno Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Alvarez scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Cai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arturo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Daniel Hulberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Oliverios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Virgilio Osoitz made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Lazzarino's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Rencio came free, but Paolo Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Rencio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Paolo Cai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nazca. After the first half Nazca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Hulberto was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Godofredo Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazca's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Cai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Nalo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Nalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Matias Loi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Cai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 73rd minute, Godofredo Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Cai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Hulberto in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nazca's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
