Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raul Iigo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fausto Gombal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a rather tough play, Formosa AFC's Angel Walme got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Formosa AFC's zone, Raul Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Bermudo came out of the goal and Raul Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Saturnino Miro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formosa AFC the free kick. A collision led to Belgrano getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Saturnino Miro hit a great ball. Fausto Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Esteve Urbez's late challenge caught a Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Urbez helped the player get up and apologised. Esteve Urbez kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jeremias Marques scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Bermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute Raul Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Gil hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ramiro Adrio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Angel Walme struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fausto Gombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formosa AFC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angel Walme to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Bermudo having to make a save. Fausto Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Urbez in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Iigo in the 59th minute of play forced Formosa AFC's goalkeeper Martin Bermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Urbez came free, but Fausto Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Belgrano got a corner. Formosa AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramiro Adrio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Saturnino Miro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Formosa AFC's goalkeeper Martin Bermudo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomero Horado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jeremias Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Bermudo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raul Iigo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Iigo couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Miro got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Saturnino Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Marques. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
