The tension between the Huanchilla FC and the Belbeder FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huanchilla FC! After 10 minutes, Elias Bortzaioriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belbeder FC and the Huanchilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Belbeder FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Elias Bortzaioriz hit a great ball. Evaristo Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Macerio in the 15th minute of play forced Belbeder FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Gaitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Beti having to interfere. Belbeder FC's Santo Bermund got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Huanchilla FC's Serafino Beti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Huanchilla FC from getting a goal against them. Aristides Jurgi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Evaristo Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Gaitano having to interfere. Gerardo Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Gaitano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belbeder FC's zone, Ambrosio Macerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Gaitano came out of the goal and Ambrosio Macerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Medero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Gaitano was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 59th minute of the match Belbeder FC got a corner. Huanchilla FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorio Etor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Belbeder FC's corner Leonel Argi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafino Beti quite easily take care of the ball. Serafino Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Abella in the 62nd minute of the match. Ambrosio Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gerardo Gaitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Filiberto Ibar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerardo Gaitano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gerardo Gaitano made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gonzalo Benet sent off a good shot on target. Gerardo Gaitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Mendebal in the 75th minute of the match. Santo Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Santo Bermund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Beti was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Belbeder FC's Santo Bermund got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Bermund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ambrosio Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
